HAZARDS...An area of light snow. LOCATION AND MOVEMENT...At 835 AM EST, an area of snow was moving east at 25 MPH. Additional accumulations of a couple tenths of an inch are expected. LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE... Norwich, Riverhead, Shirley, New London, Medford, Guilford, Southold, Colchester, Manorville, Clinton, Patchogue, Middle Island, Groton, Old Saybrook, and Wading River. SAFETY INFO... Some slippery travel is possible, on snow covered roads and on untreated roads and walkways. Slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination. |
